Not sure how to play down my praise but maybe I shouldn't. Service beyond 5 star, food AMAZING. Atmosphere beautiful. Our server made our anniversary diner so special felt like we were regulars there. The food, Biarra empanadas were to die for. This place is an over all 10 star experience.
Fine dining outside by the gardens at JW Marriott. On a business trip. Excellent service and delicious food. I had the Tri tip kebabs and spiced fingerling potatoes with a glass of local red wine. All things considered, reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
Woooooow. So rare to come to a place with such care of service. Our server answered all of all questions, she helped me decided on my dessert (tequila espresso martini lol) amazing woman, I believe her name was Roma. The staff here is the cherry on top of the great food (huge shout out to the chefs who made our meal wonderful). Israel and German could probably give me a full tour of their menu and wine list blindfolded. The people here are brilliant, and the food is amazing.
Truly an excellent Arizona experience. Bartenders Ben and Damon helped me choose items from the Sunset Hour menu (ceviche, quesadilla, margarita) and it was delicious. Damon took great care of me at the bar and suggested a cimarron reposado decaf espresso martini that was divine! Definitely order one for dessert.
Overall, the experience was great. The steak was outstanding, perfectly cooked and a true highlight of the meal. The rest of the dishes were well executed and thoughtfully presented, creating a very enjoyable dining experience. While everything was strong overall, the Tía Carmen’s chicken guisado could benefit from a bit more attention to flavor balance to match the high standard of the rest of the menu.
Sat outside for dinner. Food I ordered was phenomenal!! Tuna crudo and steak skewers off shared plates. I’ll be dreaming of it! Lovely spot with a view of the water features. Jessica was a great server!
I had dinner with my husband, and three sons 14,12,and 9. We all loved our food. The beef kabobs I had were incredible! I also had the fingerling potatoes. My kids all had burgers and enjoyed them. My husband also enjoyed his meal. The atmosphere outside was very enjoyable. We visited in late December. They came and lit our fire pit.
GORGEOUS restaurant and delectable food!! Ten stars for SHAY for enhancing our experience with her amazing service. For dinner we ordered the southwestern caesar (so unique and tasty), the pork belly carnitas (super flavorful & rich), the filet mignon (delicious), fries, and yuca Brulé (think rich cheesy mashed potatoes - to die for). Everything was perfection!! I wish I had taken photos of all our dishes! Btw.. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast here - I ordered an omelette and added their perfect guacamole.
Beautiful overall ambiance and service. My group of six tried here this past weekend. It is located in the JW Marriott and parking if you aren't a guest is a bit tricky if you are not a guest. Please plan accordingly as we were told it would be a bit of a walk and located off Tatum. Our waitress was a gem and the drinks and food she recommend mostly were to our liking. My favorites were the empanadas and lamb shanks. My Cactus blossom cocktail was tasty as well. I would be back in the future.

We chose Tia Carmen to celebrate a very special double occasion—our 38th wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday—and we could not have picked a better place. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was flawless. The staff greeted us warmly, and the service throughout the entire evening was absolutely perfect. A special shout-out to our waitress, Jessica, who was so personable and engaging. The attention to detail was incredible; even the bartender, Elias, took the time to come over to our table and greet us personally, which was a wonderful touch. As for the food—astonishing is the only word. The Grand Seafood Platter was a masterpiece of freshness and flavor, and the steak was prepared to absolute perfection. Tia Carmen delivered an exceptional, unforgettable dining experience. Amazing food, stellar service, and the perfect ambiance for a milestone celebration. We will definitely be back!
